Classic Car Overview
A beautiful black Trans Am with only 16,000 original miles! I purchased it from the original owner who told me he drove it for 2 years and then put it away. When I registered it in Missouri they verified that the miles are actual. Everything is original as it came from the factory except for rubber parts. It even has all the labels and stickers. The build sheet is in the car somewhere too, but I've left it alone. The car has dealer undercoat, which has helped it stay as pristine as it is. You won't have to put any money into this car. No leaks, no bad parts, everything works. It starts the first time every time and runs like a top. With such low miles it's like having a new car.
It runs and drives like a new car, which for all intents and purposes, it is. It has the more desirable Pontiac 400 CID big block in it. It's mechanically perfect, the interior is perfect except for the rear deck which has lost some of it's color and the paint is amazing for its age.
I've had some repairs and maintenance work done : The radiator was rebuilt last year, new upper control arm bushings, new T-Top seals on both sides, new window felt, new gas tank sending unit and repacked wheel bearings. I take the car to my mechanic every 6 months and tell him to find something wrong with it, but he can't. It's been in 2 car shows and took first place in both of them.
I've seen a few TAs listed here lately claiming to be original. If you do your homework you'll see they're not. Check out the t-tops. The only factory tops were put in by Hurst in 77 and they'll have the HH on the glass. If you get one with aftermarket tops you can't get parts for them. The car should have honeycomb wheels and the decal font should be just like the one on this car. Those are just a few of the easy tells. I encourage you to do your homework on my car to see just how original and unmolested it is. It truly is a rolling time capsule. Remember, it's only original once!
I would enjoy talking to serious potential buyers about the car, so please don't hesitate to call me.
