1977 MG MGB Roadster British Racing Green Wire Wheels Strong Driver

Finished in British Racing Green with a tan interior and matching soft top, this 1977 MGB Roadster is a solid and usable classic with excellent mechanicals. The 1.8L engine starts easily, runs strong, and shows good oil pressure. The gearbox shifts smoothly with no grinding or pop-out.

Interior presents well with clean seats, newer carpets, a crack-free dash, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. All gauges are working. The engine bay is clean and tidy, showing signs of regular care, and includes a spin-on oil filter, new alternator, updated hoses, and cobalt ignition wires. Trunk is clean with spare included.

Paint is driver-quality with numerous chips and blemishes. Some rust is present on the lower front drivers fender and chassis (see images), but the undercarriage is otherwise solid. The car retains its Triplex windshield and door glass. Currently on wire wheels. A new emergency brake cable is included, though the handbrake is currently inoperative.

A great-running classic MGB thats enjoyable as-is and ready for continued use and light restoration.

Mechanical Overview:
Starts easily and runs strong, showing good oil pressure and excellent tuning.

Smooth-shifting 4-speed gearbox with no grinding or gear pop-out.

Braking system is functional, though the emergency brake is inoperativea brand-new cable assembly is included for installation.

Spin-on oil filter, updated hoses, new alternator, and Cobalt ignition wires point to a car that has been thoughtfully maintained over the years.

Engine bay and trunk are both clean, dry, and tidy, reflective of consistent care.

Exterior & Body:
Paint is driver-quality, with multiple blemishes, chips, scratches, and prep-related irregularities throughout (see images).

Lower front drivers side fender and chassis have some localized rust, but the undercarriage is otherwise solid and sound.

No evidence of prior accident damage to body or frame.

Interior Highlights:
Upholstered tan seats, matching door panels, and newer black carpets present well.

Wood-rimmed steering wheel adds vintage flair.

Dashboard is excellent, free of cracks or fading.

All gauges are working properly.
