Classic Car Overview

An exceptionally well preserved and fully restored 1977 Scout II in the upscale Traveler trim.

While it is possible to remove the roof for cool open-top cruising, one look at the interior, and you know this one did not spend much of its life open to the world. Rarely do you see door panels, dash, center console, and flooring in such a nice condition after all these years.  Cup holder center console, upgraded Pioneer bluetooth stereo with remote, New speakers front and rear, factory air conditioning, brand new 33" BFG KO2 all terrain tires sit on a brand new modest 2.5" lift kit from Rough Country, Custom roll bar with flat legs in the front so you don’t have any leg room issues.

This Scout has the original optional 345 cubic-inch motor, there's plenty of torque so it never feels like it's working hard. Plus, the low rumble from the brand new dual exhaust is always a favorite. It's mated to a three-speed automatic transmission for easy driving, and the power steering and front disc brakes add to this feeling. The four-wheel drive system is a stout Dana 20 two-speed transfer case that connects to Dana axles at both ends.

Perhaps the greatest part about owning this Traveler is that it has had a tailgate conversion.  A tailgate from an old Scout was rescued and restored to paint match.  This allows for a tailgate when the top is removed.  The rear hatch is mated to the tailgate just like a traditional Scout II.  The Traveler is longer than a regular Scout II by 18" from the manufacturer.

Clear Arizona "A BOX" title.  Private party, no sales tax.

There are very few Scout Travelers this striking or original left out there and with zero rust.   This turns head all day long. Call for more details or more pictures etc..
