Classic Car Overview

The 1977 Datsun 280Z is a cool and appreciating Japanese classic. But this one also adds a ton of custom attitude with a full Pro Street upgrade that includes performance-built 383 stroker V8, upgraded powertrain, custom interior, and a sleek look that instantly announces this one is something extra special. The Electric Blue with Stardust metallic element loves to radiate in the sunshine and draw extra attention to this special coupe. But thats far from the only custom touch. This has a sporty and sleek front end with a custom bumper, bright mesh grille, and louvered hood. Plus, the clear headlights with paint-matching blue-dot center is a nice detail. Theres a full custom graphics package with full-length pinstripes, custom pinstriping around the Datsun badge up front, and a callout on the side proudly announcing the upgrade in power. Not only will the full-width rear spoiler remind you of a Camaro Z/28, but also so will the Camaros taillight package that was expertly integrated. Its no wonder the custom pinstriping on the rear proudly announces this has American Muscle. Just like the exterior, the interior is quite custom, and it goes for the bold. The silver pinstripe outside gets you ready for the custom silver door panels and dash. This has all the right performance-ready upgrades, like the racing bucket seats, RCI five-point harnesses, and rear safety cage w/fire extinguisher. You have a proper B&M ratchet shifter, and the Grant GT sports steering wheel is on a tilt column so you can get a clear view to the dash full of AutoMeter gauges. There are provisions for a stereo system controlled through a pop-up LCD screen for the AM/FM/CD/XM stereo w/aux input. But really, we know your favorite soundtrack begins under the hood. Theres nothing Japanese about the engine bay. It has plenty of American style flair on the bright and smooth inner walls, and they funnel all your attention to the V8 in the middle. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor thats built with go-fast goodies like aluminum heads, a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers that add power wile contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. And this ultra-tidy engine bay also reveals nice supporting components, like the MSD ignition/distributor and aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The motor is said to produce 451 horsepower, and the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit built for that kind of power. You can even shift it yourself for the ideal powerband on demand. This has been upgraded to the beefier R200 rear end to confidently deliver power to the rear wheels. The reason why you use a Z-car for an upgrade like this is because you get to take full advantage of its sharp fully-independent suspension. Plus, there are upgrades like the four-wheel power disc brakes and 15-inch ROH alloys that can hold modern performance tires. Distinct, powerful, and absolutely cool. You know you want this Pro Street Z. So dont let this deal slip away. Call now!
