We drove this corvette about a hour home, this vette runs and drives really nice.

This Corvette is the 56th 1977 Corvette off the assembly line.

We changed the oil and filter, rear end grease and additive, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the rag joint, tongue bushing, leaf spring rubbers, idler arm, spark plugs, master cylinder, complete carpet set, and much more.

1977 was the last year for the short back window in a corvette. GM released only 5,922 with the 4spd transmission, and 9,408 with white paint out of 50,000 produced for 1977.

1977 was the last year for the short back window. It was also the first year without Stingray badges on the fenders, and saw the return of the black exterior color option. Each early 1977 also had a polished horn cap, which was later recalled due to safety concerns over the sun glaring on it.
