The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview

This smile inducing 77 Corvette has a black on black color scheme and is equipped with a 350ci V8 and 4 speed manual transmission. The car currently has just over 56 thousand miles and has been with its current owner since early 2015.

As standard the car has a black leather interior, T-Tops, a 180hp 350ci V8, and a wide ratio 4-speed manual. Options fitted to this car include:

  • AM\FM radio (stereo and 8-track player)

  • Power Windows

  • Convenience package (which included dome light delay, headlight warning buzzer, underhood light, low fuel warning light, interior courtesy lights, and passenger side visor mirror.)

The V8 may have left the factory with 180hp in 1977, but in 2017 a top end rebuild was completed to refresh the motor and perk up the performance. The car sounds and drives great.Performance parts included:

  • Edelbrock Performer series intake manifold

  • Trick Flow Track Max cams

  • Trick Flow Super 23 heads

  • Flowtech headers

  • Flowmaster true dual exhaust

  • MSD DynaForce starter

  • MSD Street Fire HEI distributor

  • Trick Flow rockers

  • Trick Flow chromoly pushrods

  • Trick Flow lifters

  • Trick Flow billet timing set

  • Trick Flow head bolts

  • Trick Flow gasket set

Refresh of basic wear items included:

  • New poly motor mounts

  • New poly transmission mount

  • New belts

  • New thermostat

  • New spark plugs and wires

  • New fuel lines

  • New conical air filter

  • New heater hoses

The exterior of this garage kept car is in excellent overall condition. The black paint is mirror like when it catches the sunlight. As one would expect with a regularly driven car there are a few minor blemishes.

The interior of the car is in ok shape for a 40 plus year old driver. Seats show normal wear but are in good condition. The dash and console are in great shape with no cracks and only minor scratches. The carpeting needs attention and has a few places where it's starting to wear through to the underlay, primarily within the driver and passenger foot-wells.
