This 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 50th Anniversary is a true Pontiac Firebird Trans Am hardtop coupe finished in Starlight Black. Factory paperwork shown in the photos identifies the car as a Firebird Trans Am hardtop coupe and shows the Special Edition package, 400 V8 engine, Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, custom air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, honeycomb wheels, gold stripes and emblems, and additional trim and lighting equipment. The car now features a Fisher T-top roof, custom interior, gold Hurst Dual Gate shifter top plate, and gold foot pedals. The exterior presents in black with gold Trans Am graphics and gold-accented trim, and the interior presents in black with custom touches. The engine is stated to have 475-500 horsepower. This Trans Am has the correct late-1970s Special Edition appearance with black and gold styling and a strong visual presence.
