This stunning 1976 Pontiac true W50 Formula is offered for sale by owner. This car underwent an extensive restoration, approximately 8000 miles ago, including taking the entire car down to the bare metal. All of the sheet metal is factory original, as is most of the interior. The car was restored to factory specs including the engine, transmission and drive train it was born with. The color is stunning Carousel Red, (same as Chevrolet Hugger Orange), with black accents and a nice silver stripe between them and Parchment or white interior. The car has the factory original 350 cubic inch engine and the matching Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. The car is running a highway friendly 2.42 gear and has a deep rumble. The undercarriage of the car was also blasted to bare metal and repainted you wont find any rust on this car or a bunch of bondo. The engine blasted and repainted and all new gaskets installed. The car has power steering, power brakes, (front disc, rear drum), and a new Vintage Air system. The AC blow cold even on the hottest summer days, and although it has the original factory radiator and shroud it runs cool on hot days. The front brakes got a complete overhaul and new master cylinder recently. The car is running on the original Rally II wheels with 4 new BF Goodrich TA Radials purchased last spring. The interior is equipped with original factory AM/FM radio but rear speakers were added. The lower door panels and sail panels have been replaced, as was the carpet. The gauges are crisp and clear, 11N White Deluxe Interior shows great. It has the original Formula steering wheel and Rally Gauge Package. The current mileage at the time of this listing is 49,154 actual miles. This car is a trophy getting machine, I have a bookcase full of trophies and plaques. It has won two best of show in the past few years, most recently in August of 2024. I have a binder full of photos of the restoration and receipts. You can get into this car and drive it anywhere.
