Classic Car Overview
Excellent mechanicals, engine fitted with a Weber 32DGV carb with electric choke, has 4 speed transmission with perfect working overdrive (and offers six forward ratios), brakes redone, wire wheels, new convertible top, and excellent interior..........we dyed the dash and console to match the interior, fitted a beautiful burled wood dash and a premium wood steering wheel. And you can see the results, a far improved interior.
Likewise, look at the photos of the paint.....the deep color, incredible `mirror image` and `laser straight` (two of my favorite current ways of describing an excellent body and paint). For a 46 year old sports car, it is positively radiant. And probably indicates this car was someone`s occasional use 2nd or 3rd car for all or most of its life. Just doesn`t show the wear and tear most cars show after over a half century of use.
The most impressive change, of course, is the complete professional chrome bumper conversion....new bumpers and guards, new Mk I grille, new brackets and hardware, new sheet metal, new lights, and for extra measure, we eliminated the side lights so the exterior looks the same as the earliest and best looking of all MGBs.
