Classic Car Overview
A beautiful car which arrived at our workshops in excellent condition. Starts instantly, runs flawlessly, drives beautifully. With an excellent rust free body, show quality deep green paint, (note the photos showing a `mirror image` and `laser straight` bodywork, and recently redone interior with leather seats.
Even a new top tan convertible top, perfect floors, excellent wiring and electrics, everything working properly. So, what could be missing?
After all, a 1976 is a good year for MGBs....SU carbs provide excellent performance, the servo assist provides sure braking and a light pedal, the face level air vents provide good ventilation on a hot, rainy day with the top up. But?????????????
Hence, we have transformed this car: a complete, professional chrome bumper conversion, new bumpers and guards, new Mk I griile, new lights, sheet metal, and we even eliminated the side lights (and blended in matching paint) to achieve the appealing aesthetics of the earliest Bs.
While the interior was in excellent condition, we went further matching a dye to the interior, carefully dying the dash and center console, fitting a burled wood dash, and a wood steering wheel.
We found some slight weaping of fluid from one front caliper and one rear wheel cylinder, replaced both calipers and all rear wheel cylinders. Lowered the ride height to pre 1974 specs, new front bushings and springs, fulcrum pins, checked kingpins, tie rod ends, race boots, all in great condition.
Installed new splined hubs and front wheel bearings, new chrome knock offs, a good set of 14` wire wheels, and now finished...........just gorgeous. And if you agree, you can acquire this little gem and enjoy a fun Spring, Summer, Fall and IF you have us install a powerful auxiliary heater, even Winter.
Just finished, in the showroom, ready for sale.
