Classic Car Overview

This 1976 Mercury Comet is a four-door sedan that was driven to the church and grocery store then kept in the garage in upstate New York until December 1999, when odometer showed 24,164 miles, then never being driven but preserved in a detached garage till July 2018 when I gave her a new garage. It now shows 30,672 miles rides like a Champ!
Finished in light green over green upholstery, the car is powered by an inline 6 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with a vinyl roof, chrome-finished bumpers with overrides, and 15 wheels for everyday drive, as well as the original wheels with full covers as spares, power-assisted steering, and a Philco push-button AM radio.
This Comet is now offered with a clean Virginia title in the owners name.
The original Carburetor has been rebuilt and also a new one comes with it as a spare.
Everything is ORIGINAL except:
Radiator, gas tank/fuel lines, brake pads/rotors/fluid lines/main cylinder, transmission cooling lines/radiator, shock absorbents, headlights and other light bulbs, rubber/plastic fittings and hoses/tubes.
