This 1976 Ford F-250 Highboy 4x4 is a solid, honest truck that has had just three owners since new. Unlike many pieced-together examples, this Highboy remains true to its original build with the correct stance, drivetrain, and character that collectors seek. Increasingly valuable and hard to find, these factory Highboys are among the most desirable vintage Ford 4x4s.

Powered by the 360ci V8 backed by a C6 automatic transmission, this Highboy retains its divorced transfer case, Dana 60 rear axle, and Dana 44 front axle. It rides on a 133 wheelbase and drives straight with minimal wander a testament to how well it s been maintained. Recent service includes a new carburetor, distributor, plugs, wires, tires, hubcaps, and a new fuel tank behind the seat.

Cosmetically, the truck presents well with no dents, though minor rust spots and a few paint imperfections are present (see photos). It s a great driver that represents an excellent blend of originality and usability.

Also included in the sale is a collection of new parts: driver and passenger window belt molding, removal tool, rubber hood seal, steering wheel, floor pans, cab corners, antenna, speaker, tail light seal foam, and 1976 shop manual volumes.
