1976 FIAT 124 Convertible

Astonishingly well preserved example of the classic Fiat 124 Spider, this a 1976 model powered by a twin cam 1800 cc motor fronting a 5-speed manual transmission. Other than reupholstered front seats this car is unrestored and believed to be just 48,000 original miles.

It has benefitted from routine maintenance and most recently a comprehensive rebuild of the front end. New brakes and tires were also just fitted. Unlike those dowdy British contemporaries the sexy Fiat has a sophisticated Lampredi double overhead cam engine that gives it that distinctly Italian sound, four wheel disc brakes and a 5-speed transmission that makes it suitable for modern interstate travel. The folding top is a masterpiece in simplicity that requires nothing more than tossing it over your shoulder. This stylish Italian sports car was designed by Tom Tjaarda during his time at Pininfarina.
