1975 Triumph TR6 convertible Carmine red with tan interior, a matching tan top and boot. It comes equipped with a four-speed transmission disc wheels and a stainless luggage rack. Procured from Georgia, this TR6 was part of a collection. After we acquired it, we performed brake work and got it running smoothly, and a new set of tires have been fitted.
This TR6 is in great drivers condition overall, excelling in both appearance and performance. The paint is generally impressive, with minor touch-ups, and a few faint hairline scratches and chips. The body showcases consistent gaps and a genuine feel all around. The chrome work is decent overall.
Inside, the tan interior is well-maintained. While door panels are mostly original and in good shape, the beige carpet kits and dash are commendable. The tan top, visible in still photos, is in decent condition. A replacement windshield has a fairly good rubber surround, and a new lock-up strip will be fitted.
The trunk offers typical TR6 space, with a well-fitting lid. The original brushed Beauty rims add authenticity to the cars profile.
The mileage shows 13,328 which has likely rolled over, but the experience with this model indicates strong performance despite the reading. A new Servo and brake master have been installed, ensuring proper functioning. The gearbox shifts through the gears adequately. While there are slight indications of third gear synchronizer weakness, the overall drivability is satisfactory. The engine compartment is in excellent condition overall.
