Windy City Warriors

From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Savoy Faire is Everywhere

The no-frills Savoy two-door sedan was home to another engine of considerable repute, the infamous 413 Max Wedge, a Super Stock monster block Chrysler introduced in the spring of 1962.

Classic Car Overview

1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Hurst Olds W-30.  One owner for past 30 years.  Only 2535 Hurst Olds were built in 1975.  Of the cars built, only 1193 contained the W-30 package, which included the 455 cubic inch engine.  Among the Hurst Olds built in 1975 only 1,293 were white.  This is a genuine W-30 car with documentation from the GM Heritage Center.  The car came equipped with factory T-Tops, gauge package, sport steering wheel, and Hurst digital tachometer (no longer installed).   The car is largely stock, original, and in the same condition as when I bought it.  Changes include the replacement of the original rear end with a limited slip unit.  Headers were also installed along with a custom full dual exhaust system with twin high flow catalytic converters.  The original exhaust manifolds are included in the sale of the car.  The original Hurst tachometer is also included in the sale if I can locate where it is stored, although it no longer works properly.  Additional parts that I may also be willing to include in the sale of the car include two rust-free doors, a front nose piece, and another limited slip rear end.  During my ownership, the car has always been garaged and kept out of snow and rain.
