I should have been a little more careful as the seller did not divulge much information about it other than the builder was a person in the Phoenix area that did this for a living but had either a medical emergency or financial situation and had to sell the car before it was completed.
Let me say he came close. He did a wonderful job on the exterior but not so much on the interior. When I got it, none of the gauges worked. He had replaced the engine with a LS1 5.7 Liter V8.
The outside was in good condition and it drove well. I just paid a local Restoration shop $5300 to fix the gauges and other basic issues to make it safely drivable. A narrative and explanation of the work is available upon request.
Is it perfect? No, but it is drivable until whoever owns it next wants to bring it to their own level.
