Classic Car Overview
350 small block engine bored .30 over to a 355. Two bolt main.
TH350 transmission.
203 transfer case.
100,000+ miles?
Clean Colorado title in my name.
Being a 1975 it does not need emissions in Colorado.
I originally purchased the truck to landscape the front and back yard of my house. I have finished the landscaping so we don't use the truck that much any more.
If you are seriously interested, please read the post completely and look at the pictures closely. I will not be answering any questions that are addressed below.
Engine-
The heads are 2.02 double humps off of a 327 engine. They are ported and polished with bronze guides for the valves. They have 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms with high intensity push rods. 3/8" rocker arm studs with guide plates.
The intake manifold is a Weiand, spread bore, action plus.
The carburetor is a 650 CFM 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet with electric choke.
The cam shaft is a truck Comp cam with matching lifters (part# 12-239-3). The literature for the cam will come with the truck.
It has a new harmonic balancer with a March pulley set, high flow water pump and high flow power steering pump.
It has a Milodon 5 qt oil pan with matching oil pump and oil pickup.
New plugs and wires.
New starter.
The radiator is a new aluminum 4-row with dual electric fans connected to a relay.
It starts and runs fine but could use a little fine tuning.
Sitting in traffic on a hot day, it will get hot. It has vapor locked, but has always kept running for me.
The engine has an estimated 2000 miles on it.
It has the stock exhaust manifolds on it that run to a dual 2.5" exhaust. The exhaust manifold on the passenger side has trouble fitting to the modified heads so it is hard to get it not to leak. I do have some Flowtech Headers (11506FLT) that I will include with the sale of the truck. The mufflers that were on the truck when I got it were rusted through so I clamped on some Thrusher mufflers.
Suspension-
The front suspension has been replaced. Shackles, U-bolts, bushings, leaf springs, shocks, hardware and steering stabilizer. The shocks are Rancho RS500. The front breaks have been replaced, rotors, pads, calipers and lines. The brakes work excellent. The rear suspension is untouched but is still solid and sits and works how it should. I have hauled many loads well over half a ton and have yet come close to the bump stops. It is a very stable and smooth driving truck, even at interstate speeds.
The tires are 33x10.50r15 BFGoodrich all terrains on the stock rally wheels. The spare is a full size tire with matching wheel.
Body-
The body is in okay shape for what it is. All of the body mounts are solid. The floor boards are solid. The cab has rust along the bottom of the door jams and in the back corners. The bed doesn't have any bad rust but does have a dent in the left rear corner. The rear fenders are solid with no rust. The hood had the famous kink in it when I got it so I bolted some angle iron and strip steel to it to straighten it out. The hood looks and works as it should otherwise. The inner front fenders are solid. The outer front fenders are rusting in the bottom rear corners but are still solid otherwise. The doors are rusting quite bad and could be replaced, however they still shut and seal how they should. The tailgate opens and closes smoothly and works how it should.
The interior is decent. All of the gauges work except the temp gauge, so I installed an after market one. The truck has power windows and locks however the power lock on the driver side does not work. I replaced the locking plunger in the door but it is not getting power from the switch. The climate control gives you a little bit of defrost but that's about it. The wipers have two speeds, slow and a little bit faster.
The frame is straight and in good shape with no major rust. All of the body and suspension mounts are solid.
The transmission and transfer case run smooth and shift as they should. The transmission has a new oil pan with a drain plug and new cooling lines to the radiator. The four wheel drive works how it should.
The electrical isn't the best. I went through the engine compartment and tidied it up. The only thing that I did under the dash is tape off some loose wires. Everything works how it should except for the items noted above.
I took the AC system out of the truck. I did keep all of the parts that I removed and they will come with truck.
The truck will also come with some other miscellaneous parts.
I will not be answering any questions that are addressed above. Please look at the pictures closely.
