The current owner picked up this vehicle from the original owner over 25 years back, since then he has done all of the modifications and restoration work himself. The powerplant under the hood in this Gran Torino is a 460 cubic inch V8 motor, it consists of a Ford 385 block, Ford Truck -0.010 crank, Ford Truck Rods with aRP bolts, Forged Speed Pro Pistons L2404F30 0.030 over, Ford D0VE-C heads ported with Manly stainless steel valves, Edelbrock performer intake, Comp Cam 34-331-4 Magnum 250H, Atomic EFI MSD fuel injection and Hooker headers. According to the owner, these modifications put this vehicle at 553hp @ 5000RPM and 623TQ @ 4000RPM. All of this power is shifted through a Ford C6 transmission with manual shift and an Edge 10 custom torque converter. It is then being put to the wheels by a Ford 9 inch rear end, 3.25 gear ratio, power trax locking differential and a 28 spline Ford Axles.
