Engine- 460ci Big Block
D1VE-6015-A2B Internally Balanced 460 Big Block. Profession Products harmonic balancer, COMP Cams double roller timing chain and gears set straight up. Mildish flat tappet Comp cam, hydraulic lifters, hardened pushrods, Edelbrock intake, FiTech 800hp Meanstreet fuel injection.
D0VE-C factory cast iron heads. Ported & polished, new valves, new retainers, new guides, new seals, new springs, APR bolts, fel-pro gaskets, stud mounted 1.72 ratio roller tip rockers, pushrod guides.
HEI PerTronix Flame thrower distributer, MSD spark plug wires, Optima Red top battery
L&L Headers into true duels, 2 Flowmaster 40 series mufflers dumping out before the rear tires.
HUGE new super cooler radiator.
Transmission – 5 speed with OD
ZF-5 from a 1988 F-250 with less than 90,000 miles. Model s5-42 with an OD ratio of .76. Pickaway Transmissions did the swap. Transmission was gone through and all seals were replaced. New clutch, new balanced flywheel, new slave and master cylinders, steel reinforcement on the firewall to prevent flex, and a new high torque starter. In 5th gear going 70mph on the freeway it runs 2000 RPM’s on the button.
Transfer Case – Fully rebuilt NP203
This is the rare FULL TIME 4x4 transfer case. So if you want to just do burnouts and donuts go buy a two wheel drive. I converted the extremely troublesome shifter box to a twin stick set up from Offroad Design. The left stick actually locks and unlock a center differential inside the case putting 50% of the power to the front axle and 50% out back. The right stick in the high and low range selector.
Axles – 4.10 geared DANA 44 front and DANA 60 rear.
The front axle is the closed knuckle DANA 44HD "Big Ball" 12 bolt knuckle with drum brakes. Since it is a full time 4x4 there are no wheel hubs that you have to get out and lock and unlock in the middle of a snow storm. The rear axle is a DANA 60 open differential with disc breaks and parking brake converted with Lugnut 4x4’s kit.
Fuel injection – FiTech Meanstreet
This is a fully standalone system. You don’t hook it up to a lap top or anything weird like that. It comes with a touch screen controller that can either be disconnected and stowed away or used as a cool custom gauge set up. This is fueled by a HyperFuel 340 lph pump in a custom fabricated steel 32 gallon tank mounted to the frame under the bed. The system has supply and return lines running at 45 psi.
