Classic Car Overview
The car was finished from the factory in Light Brown (301) and was refinished under prior ownership. Equipment includes a chrome front 240Z-style bumper, bright window trim, a power-retractable antenna, a gray taillight panel, and a single exhaust outlet.
The car is equipped with rack-and-pinion steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums. Work carried out under previous ownership involved an overhaul of the brake calipers and rear drums along with the replacement of the master cylinder, brake hoses, wheel bearings, and various suspension bushings.
The cabin features high-back bucket seats trimmed in tan vinyl upholstery complemented by matching door panels and carpeting as well as a black dashboard and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, a lockable glovebox, a rear window defogger, and a rear cargo area with straps. Work performed under prior ownership involved the replacement of the seat covers and dash cover.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level are mounted atop the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 60,298k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The analog clock does not work.
The 2.8-liter L28 inline-six features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 170 horsepower. Service performed during prior ownership involved the replacement of the front and rear main seals, spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor, radiator, and battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Service carried out in 2021 included resealing the transmission and rear differential, refurbishing various underbody components, resurfacing the flywheel, and replacing the clutch and pressure plate. Before and after photos of underbody rust repairs are shown in the gallery.
The window sticker shows factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $6,861. Manufacturers literature, service records, and spare parts are included in the sale.
