1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo For Sale This 1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo has been through a frame-off restoration and is now powered by a rebuilt 454 big-block, finished in Dark Garnet pearl over a black cloth interior. The odometer shows 81,267 miles, and the title states the mileage is actual. The consignors records note 79,727 miles when the rebuild began, which puts roughly 1,540 miles on the car since the work was completed. The 454 was bored 0.030 over and fully rebuilt, then paired with a mild camshaft, an upgraded intake, a 750 Holley carburetor, headers, a 6-quart oil pan, and a high-volume oil pump. A heavy-duty aluminum radiator, fan clutch, and fan blade handle cooling. Power goes through an overhauled Turbo-Hydramatic 400 automatic with a shift kit, then to a 3.73 Posi rear differential, with new heavy-duty universal joints in the driveshaft. The exhaust is a complete 2.5-inch system with cutouts controlled by a rocker switch, so the car can run quiet or open. The chassis was blasted and coated in POR-15, and all steering and suspension components were replaced. All brake and fuel lines were renewed, and a line lock is installed. Torque Thrust wheels with new tires sit under a body that was stripped, dipped, and repainted. Inside, the black cloth interior includes the factory swivel bucket seats, a console shifter, a 2 5/8-inch gauge panel, a new headliner, and a new radio and speakers.
