Classic Car Overview
HIGHLIGHTS: True one family owned survivor that has never seen a full restoration! On consignment with us by the original owner! This is the first time this car has been offered for sale since it was sold new in 1975! Must see to believe! BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this El Camino is in incredible condition, as it has been maintained by the same caretaker since it first left the lot. The body is very straight, and really shows the level of care this car has received over the years. Even the bed floor is in nice condition! PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: GM vehicles of the 1970s werent exactly known for long-lasting paint, so it is no surprise that this El camino has received a repaint along the way. It was a number of years ago, and while the paint is in excellent condition, it is showing some very minor signs of wear and use here and there. It is painted in its original color of Antique White with a Tuxedo Black vinyl top. INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is in shockingly nice, original condition. While the drivers seat is showing signs of age and use, as can be seen in the photos, the rest of the interior is in excellent original condition for a 45-year-old car. MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this car remains mostly the way it was intended to be from factory, and has simply received proper maintenance over the years. A chrome air clean and chrome valve covers dress up the engine a little. This car fires up incredibly easily, and purrs right along! It runs great, drives great, and the brakes can stop this puppy on a dime,. WHAT YOULL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The overall originality, and the well-preserved nature of this vehicle.. It truly is a nicely preserved vehicle, and the fact that it has never been offered for sale since 1975 until now is a big plus! WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The fact that the air conditioning is not currently operational. DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? While this car was equipped with factory air, the compressor was removed after it ceased to function years ago. However, the plumbing is still in place should the next owner want to hook it back up. WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This is an incredible El Camino of one of the lesser-seen generations out there. Whether youre looking for a unique weekend toy, or just something fun to mess around with on the weekends, this 1975 El Camino is a great option!
