The year 1975 was a unique one in the history of the C3 (Corvette, 3rd generation) as it marked the last year a convertible body style was offered. And with less than 5,000 drop-top Corvettes made that year, it makes for something special in Corvettes illustrious history.



Here we have a 1975 Corvette convertible that boasts just 36,641 miles, very nice overall condition and plenty of desirable options. The body is in excellent shape, and at some point had a color change from Medium Saddle to Bright Red. It looks great with the tan convertible top and the factory Rally wheels fitted with BF Goodrich Radial T/As.



The interior retains its original Medium Saddle color and being the optional Custom interior features real leather upholstery as well as the handsome woodgrain-accented door panels. From the dash down to the carpet, it all looks fantastic.



Plenty of options were ticked off when this Corvette was ordered, including the auxiliary hardtop, automatic transmission, A/C, power steering and brakes, power windows and tilt/telescopic steering wheel. Aftermarket cruise control and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD audio system round out the loaded specification of this sharp C3.



Under the long hood resides the original, numbers-matching L48 350 V8 that still retains its original emissions system components. Its been dressed up with custom valve covers to lend a bit of eye candy to the engine compartment. The power goes through the TH400 automatic transmission and out to the 3.08-geared Positraction rear end.



Out on the road, this little red Corvette drives as you would expect a well-cared-for, low-mileage example to drive. More a smooth cruiser than a boisterous boulevard bruiser, it moves out smoothly and with enough punch to make short work of freeway merging and passing.
