In addition to being One of the Best remaining Bricklin SV-1s in Pristine Original Condition with Original ACRYLIC body panels, ( non-painted car), an Original Interior, and with NO modifications or alterations, Bricklin Vin #1216 was manufactured in Safety RED, ( the rarest and most sought after Bricklin color), It was observed, sat in and AUTOGRAPHED by Bricklin Founder MALCOLM BRICKLIN !! ( see photographs ). This occurred at a Bricklin International Owners Meet in Dover, Delaware in 2017. This car has always been garaged and well maintained over the past nearly 50 years. It has won sever Bricklin Concours events. All functions are operational including the AC. It drives and rides like a new car. The only change that has been made are new tires mounted to the Original Bricklin rims. This is an Rare Opportunity to own a piece of automotive history as the Bricklin SV-1 is the only car designed, engineered and manufactured as a Safety Car. It has a four sided perimeter frame with an integrated occupant safety cage attached as well as the highest rated bumpers at that time, with no damage to the body. Maintenance of the car was simplified by the use of All AMERICAN components and the Power operated GULL WING Doors operated at the touch of a button made entrance/exit an ease. The doors protruded outward only 11 inches from the body outward when opened. The GULLWING Bricklin SV-1 is a car that any enthusiast/collector can enjoy owning, showing and driving for many years to come.
