Classic Car Overview

Incredibly clean 1974 911 Coupe in Guards Red over Black interior. This G-Series 911 has been with the most recent owner here in Colorado since 1983 as a daily driver, Porsche Club of America track day car, and for the past several years a Concours winning show car. The 911 has been in Colorado for most or all of its life according to previous ownership documents and has been extremely well cared for by its owners.

The 911 came to us from a long time Porsche enthusiast client that purchased the car in 1983 from a private seller that acquired the car in 1979 from Rennenhaus LTD in Denver, CO. Since 1983 the 911 has been enjoyed at several different race tracks around the country and most recently the car has been enjoyed by spectators attending Concours dElegance events around the Denver metro area. During the previous ownership a partial cage and harnesses were installed to help with drivability and safety on track days. While participating in a Porsche Club race in Aspen, CO the owners noticed the engine was beginning to lose power so the car was taken to Allen Johnsen in Grand Junction, CO where Allen and his team rebuilt the engine making it a 2.8L putting out an estimated 250HP. Having impressive upgrades performed to the engine the owner continued to attend Porsche Club track days for several years to follow. The final Porsche Club race this 911 attended was in Arizona in 2006, after retiring from racing the owner decided to concentrate on showing the car at local and regional Concous events which is why the 911 shows very clean today. The 911 has collected several Concours awards since 2006 and most, if not all, have been well preserved so the next owner can continue to share this 911s inspiring story.

Our Factory Trained Porsche Classic Technicians have been servicing the 911 since 2021 and they just completed our comprehensive pre-owned inspection to ensure the car is ready for its next owner. During the inspection process we replaced all 4 tires due to age, replaced the shift shaft seal, installed a new shift coupler and bushings, installed a new window regulator, performed a brake system fluid flush, and we performed an annual oil and filter change so the next owner doesnt have to.

The car comes with limited documentation and ownership records as well as Concours awards provided by the previous owners. The overall condition of the 911 is very clean with minimal blemishes to the exterior and interior consistent with the age of the car. Previous records provided by the previous owner are available by request and will stay with the car for the new owner. We do our best to ensure the accuracy of items described in this listing are correct; however, due to age of the vehicle and limited access to historical evidence we cannot guarantee all items listed in the description including mileage and originality of materials is accurate.

Schedule your visit to see this incredibly clean and available 1974 911 Coupe at Porsche Colorado Springs today! 719-219-1911
