VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. Classic Car Overview

One owner 1974 MG MGB.   This car has been in my family since 1974, with my father as the original owner until 2005 when he passed it onto me his only son.   The car was driven in Cleveland, OH, only during the summer, always garaged, and then moved to Charlotte, NC, in 2005, where I have continued to take meticulous care of it ever since.  I am not driving the car as much as I would like, have a new young daughter, and the time has come for another MG enthusiast to enjoy it as much as our family has.

All recent maintenance has been done by MG specialists Elite Vechicle Restoration, in Denver, NC, and they can speak to its phenomenal condition.   The interior looks like new, all original except for the steering wheel and ignition.   The top looks brand new, replaced in 2010, and minor repairs to the latches were just done making it look perfect.   A tonneau cover is included, also in perfect condition.   The original color was Citron Yellow, and the MGB was painted red in the early 2000’s.    The hood has minor blemishes when looked at closely, but other than that the paint is in excellent condition.   Wheels are original, as are the chrome bumpers.   The car runs beautifully and has the signature MG sound from it’s original engine.  Minor rust was removed from the bottom of the car by EVR in 2016 and is now in excellent condition.

Between my father and I we know the full history of the car, and would be happy to answer any questions.   We have both taken pride in keeping the car in perfect condition, and the records I have will show I have over spent to make sure that is the case!   There is never a time I take the MG out without people pointing at it, remarking on how good it looks, or wanting to stop and talk about their own MG stories from their past.  This is a special car for the next owner.
