Classic Car Overview
Here is what we were told, what we know, what we can see, and what we are doing to finish this car.
First of all, really excellent body....my kitchen magnet stuck everywhere and there wasn't the slightest trace of plastic filler. New bright red paint is very very nice. No rust, no damage, no patching underneath. So far, so good.
Engine: 160 psi compression in every cylinder, 60-70 psi oil pressure, zero smoke cold or hot. Really doesn't get any better. New Weber carb, electronic ignition, high powered electric radiator cooling fan, all items for greatly improved reliability. And clutch was recently replaced (with the engine bay nicely painted when the engine was out), gearbox is faultless, and steering, suspension, brakes all felt first rate.
We can see Aeorquip brake lines, new calipers, new clutch and brake master cylinders, LOTS of new parts. Very impressive.
Has wire wheels, we can offer this car with painted, chrome, or even 15" painted or chrome wire wheels. Even a rare set of knock off Minilites we have in stock.
Interior is completely redone, completely stripped, new thick heat shielding throughout the interior, new padding, insulation, new premium fitted carpet set, redone seats, panels, new Honey Teak wood dashboard, new headliner, even a high quality wood steering wheel, new stereo/CD with USB input, all gauges work, all electricals work, on and on. A VERY impressive interior. And to make things work better than new, installed new LED bulbs in all gauges and interior lights.
What have we left out? Chrome is very good, same with trim, wiring, electricals, has an oil cooler with new Aeroquip lines, quiet exhaust, new battery, front end is nice and tight and we fitted new tie rod ends, new tires, overall a really excellent MGB GT.
AND........it doesn't stop there. Because, as additions, we can offer this car with a modern 5 speed transmission, rebuilt overdrive transmission, even with the ultimate....a rebuilt 3.4 liter Camaro V6 with special manifolds, 390cfm Holley 4bbl, around 180hp and coupled to a rebuilt close ratio T5 five speed transmission.
AND........on the subject of additional equipment, can offer this car with a new air conditioning assembly with a powerful supplemental heater. And even a full fabric sunroof. ALL in stock and all easily installed.
If you want us to create a 'dream' MGB GT for you with Aston Martin performance, great classic looks, and still simple and easy to service and repair....we can do it. AND price, for this car, depends on any options a buyer may wish us to add (price listed is for car as seen and described in this ad).
