Classic Car Overview
A once in a lifetime opportunity to own a true Sleeping Beauty! Less than 10, 000 miles and garage kept automotive rarity that defines luxury. Owned by a very small town surgeon and used only on special occasions. Still located in that same very small town in NE Colorado. $24,000 or best offer.
Exterior
Silver exterior with black pin striping, matching silver vinyl landau top, oval opera windows and a sunroof! Being kept indoors and with very few miles, the paint is near flawless with very little road pitting. Concealed headlights, cornering lamps, a power antenna, as well as bumpers, body-side moldings, and side mirrors finished in chrome.
Interior
Silver/gray leather tufted seating surfaces showing little/no wear and matching tufted door panels. The only blemish is the drivers door pull covering is split vertically in the center, much like many of this model were. Front bench seat with color-coordinating carpets line the floors and extend to the trunk, while woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, ashtray (!) and power window/door lock controls. Additional amenities include automatic climate control, a rear window defroster, a cable-operated mirror, driver and passenger lighted vanity mirrors, power-operated windows, and a Philco AM/FM radio with an eight-track player. The two-spoke steering wheel features cruise control buttons and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a Cartier clock. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 9,518 miles.
Engine/Drivetrain/Mechanical
The 460ci V8 was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 353 lb-ft of torque and features solid-state ignition and a single four-barrel carburetor. Last year before catalytic converters! Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a solid rear axle. Power steering and a Sure-Track braking system that consists of power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Belts and hoses were replaced in 2019.
Wheels/Tires
Steel 15 wheels with turbine-style polished hubcaps with Lincoln-logo centers are mounted with 235/75 whitewall tires.
