Windy City Warriors

From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Classic Car Overview

Black on black 74 Dodge Dart Sport (not GT). It's originally a New Hampshire car that was a 318ci engine that had AC, the AC was removed and the engine was rebuilt and is now a 340ci engine running 10:1 compression with a .480 lift cam. large valve heads, Edelbrock 750 cfm carb. Alumuminum radiator and ceramic coated headers backed by a torqueflight trans. The exhaust system has electric cutouts that has a bottom thob on the dash that lets you choose between full exhaust and basically open headers. (I will link a video of the open header sound to this add) The interior is covered in black vinyl, auto gauges and a Grant GT steering wheel. It rolls on 17" Ridler rims wrapped in BFG rubber. It has a 8 3/4 rear end with a 2.76 rear gear, so the car is a real big cruiser. The electric choke has been taken off and a manual choke has been installed to provide more power to the engine when starting, plus the manual choke give you a real sense of connection with the car and gives it a more personal feel.
