The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is the third generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced from 1967 until 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. The cabin features twin bucket seats trimmed in black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes power windows, power locks, AM radio, AC and heater. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and amperage are mounted in the center stack along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles. The car is finished in Dark Brown (68L) and features removable roof panels, a front-hinged domed hood, a drivers side mirror, and pop-up headlights. The 15 Rally wheels wear trim rings and center caps and were mounted with Michelin radial tires, 215/70R15. The car is equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension, power steering, and power-assisted four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. Power is provided by a numbers matching Turbo-Jet 454ci LS4 V8 with a four-barrel carburetor that was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft of torque when new.
