From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.
Classic Car Overview
Finished in Fjord Metallic over a blue interior, this 1974 BMW 2002TII is the recipient of 8 year old restoration down to bare metal. This TII is a wonderful driver and exhibits a very solid body and detailed engine compartment.
The 2002TII has a rebuilt engine with under 2000 since a full rebuild. The transmission is an upgraded 5-speed Getrag and 3.91 rear gearing. It’s much better out on the highway in this configuration and a little quicker off the line. The engine compartment is clean a very detailed and the vehicle was refinished with the engine out of the car making for a very tidy engine compartment.
The interior has well-preserved original seats and door panels, new carpeting, a Becker radio, rebuilt gauges and working dash lights, and a working heater. Also included are pop-out quarter windows and a dash clock.
Recent service includes injector rebuilding/testing, and full fluid service. The car is an excellent driver and we have done a lovely 500 miles during our ownership of the BMW.
