This car was bought new in Denver, CO, and has not traveled many miles with its one owner throughout its life here. The car retains all its original finishes, and they have all held up remarkably. This car is in such excellent condition a layman might suspect it has been restored. You rarely find classics in this remarkable condition. This example is very much how it appeared out of the factory in 1973. A Volvo dealership by the name of Kumph Motors Imports Inc. first sold this car to its first owner. A 1967 Pontiac hardtop coupe was traded for the car costing a total of $5646.46.

After sitting for several years, in 1999 the Volvo was sent to a specialist Volvo shop for a major service.

California White with Blue interior was the rarest, least common color for the Volvo 1800ESs.
