Classic Car Overview
1973 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper. I have been the sole owner of this VW camper. It has been repaired in the original high gloss orange and garaged at my home in Glendale, California for 47 years. The front seats have been reupholstered in the original black perforated material as when I bought it. I have had the rear seating and mattress reupholstered in the original tan color and fabric type as when purchased. The curtains have also been recreated in the original fabric. I put in carpeting but the original flooring is beneath it. The engine was rebuilt 5,000 miles ago from the original engine however the original dual carburetor was replaced at that time with a high intake Bosch carburetor. Engine H4-1679cc 1.7L 4-speed stick. VIN: 2332191642. Clean title. The camper, I feel, is in very good condition with all parts etc, no major rips, tears, dings, etc - the bumpers have some scuffs. The pop up canopy needs a good cleaning. The exterior has been waxed regularly. I have the original owners manual, manual cover and paperwork. Two front doors, right side sliding door, rear camper pop up door with engine compartment door below.Â
