Classic Car Overview

This 1973 Toyotal Corolla SL was reportedly sold new in Portugal and acquired by the seller on BaT in June 2018 out of Greece. It was subsequently imported to the US and has since received a replacement battery and muffler, along with re-chromed bumpers and refurbished trim. Finished in green over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 1.2-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and equipped with fender-mounted mirrors, 12 Ronal wheels, and a Kenwood CD stereo. The car was refinished in the current shade of green in 2006, and following an accident under current ownership the left taillight bezel was repaired, the left rear reflector was replaced, and paint touch up was performed. According to the seller, the bumpers have also been re-chromed and the plastic trim pieces reconditioned The 12 Ronal alloy wheels are wrapped in 155/80 Falken Sincera SN832 tires. The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl, and the cabin features color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The factory radio is inoperable, and a Kenwood CD stereo in the glovebox is wired to Pioneer rear speakers. he three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 190-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and a combination gauge. The five digit odometer shows 49k kilometers (31k miles). The 1.2-liter 3K-B inline-four is equipped with dual carburetors and was factory rated at 77 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque. A Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. A replacement muffler was reportedly installed in July 2023.
