Classic Car Overview

1973 PORSCHE 914 2.0
Serial Number 4732919675
77,397 MILES

Presented here is an eye-catching 1973 Porsche 914 2.0 targa top roadster. It has been refinished in a Honda yellow paint color which shows excellently. The body is straight with no paint flaws, with the exception of a small touched up scratch on the left front fender. There is no apparent current or previous rust due to the cars original life in California and subsequent time in Michigan where it was never driven in inclement weather. The interior, including seat covers, door panels and carpet, was recently replaced by the owner and is in very good condition. It is brown with checkered cloth inserts on the seats.

The car is equipped with the original 2.0 liter engine, the best of the three four cylinder engines offered on the 914. It is connected to a 5 speed manual transmission with a dogleg first gear. The suspension has been modified to improve handling. Changes include Turbo tie rods, 19 mm front sway bars, KYB shock absorbers, a lowered suspension, 19 master brake cylinder, braided SS brake lines, electronic ignition, 7 wide Revolution brand 15 diameter wheels, and an aftermarket steering wheel (the original steering wheel is included).

The current owner purchased this 914 from a private party in Sacramento, CA in 1989. He has done most of the mechanical work on the vehicle. The odometer reads 77,397 miles which he believes is correct but cannot verify. To his knowledge, the car has not been involved in any accidents. The car has been occasionally tracked.
