The body has all original sheet metal. Both quarter panels still show factory pinch welds attaching the rear quarter panels to the wheel well inners. The correct Brewster Green paint appears fresh and in #1 condition, polished to a luster better than production, the Hood, bird decal and Trans Am call outs are factory correct and professionally applied. The gaps on most of the cars sheet metal is better than what would be expected from a 1973 production Firebird. All of the 1973 Trans Am spoilers and air foils are present and accounted for. The windshield, side and rear glass are the correct original LOF units with factory tint. This car has the drip molding trim package around the side glass, as well as the windshield and back light trim are all in good polished condition. The correct bullet mirrors are in place and are also in excellent condition, it has the correct 1973 dated rear tail lights, with very nice bezels. A nicely chromed rear bumper. The front endura bumper is in excellent condition with no signs of cracks, the grills are restored correctly, and the lower valance is the correct plastic 1973 unit, with amber 1972 dated parking light lenses (correct parts). The headlights are the factory correct Power Beams. The rocker panels still retain the original part numbers stamped in them from 1973.Everything in this 73 Trans Ams black custom interior looks factory correct and in very good condition. The Instrument panel shows no signs of cracking, has the correct pull handle, the correct aluminum turned gauge panel cluster with all the correct gauges, very nice Formula steering wheel, excellent headliner, sun visors, correct rear view mirror, new carpet, correct floor mats, very nice door panels, and deluxe seat covers (that appear to be original not reproduction) It has a factory correct AM/FM radio. Also present is the optional rear speaker. The sill plates show minimal sign of wear from mild use. The seat belts are factory correct, all in all this interior is in very nice original 1973 condition.Undercarriage:The sheet metal on the undercarriage is in excellent condition and show no signs of any replacement, it is covered in the correct Norwood assembly plant rust inhibitor red primer color. The sub frame has been removed and restored to factory spec, it is pit free and painted the factory correct black, every suspension component has been replaced with new parts and painted, and plated correctly. The correct 1.25 front and .875 rear sway bars are present. The driveshaft has been properly restored with the correct orange, white and yellow stripe identification. The Turbo 400 transmission has been restored inside and out and shows a nice aluminum finish. The Factory correct Gardner exhaust system with the cross flow muffler and dual exhaust resonators including the correct 1973 chrome tips are in excellent condition. All new fuel and brake lines, correct spiral shocks and new body bushings. New correctly stamped fuel tank.
