Olds in 1897 the company produced iconic models for over a century before GM finally discontinued the Oldsmobile marque in 2004. In 1973 Oldsmobile introduced the Omega as its compact entry-level car. The Omega shared GMs X-body platform with the Chevrolet Nova Buick Apollo and Pontiac Ventura but featured Oldss own styling touches.
