Classic Car Overview

1973 Mercedes 450SL convertible, 138350 miles. Completely original, ALWAYS garage kept. This car is in nearly perfect condition and comes with both the convertible and hard top (with rear defrost). The hard top comes with the original roll around stand and cover for easy storage. The car runs fantastic, as you would expect from a Mercedes 450SL with 225Hp. 4.5-liter, 8-cylinder, single overhead camshaft naturally aspirated engine. 3 speed automatic transmission. Power windows, air conditioning, cruise control. They don't make them like this anymore.
This car has been perfectly maintained and never in an accident. No restoration, no body work, no body filler, completely original, all the way down to the Mercedes paint job and first aid kit. Tires have less than 100 miles, new exhaust, new Interstate battery. Maintenance records binder will be provided.

Vehicle history: This car was purchased in Germany by the original owner who drove it in Germany on vacation. She had it shipped to the United States and it was her daily driver. My father asked her if she ever wanted to sell it, please let him know. She did, and my father purchased this car as a gift for my mother. It has been a loved and very well cared for car.

Disclaimers:
The car currently has 1974 rally sport wheels installed (I'm not sure where my father found those, but they look very good), the original 1973 wheels will be included with the sale.
The car currently has a Kenwood stereo installed in the dash. My father had this installed at the Mercedes dealership. The original Mercedes radio will be provided, it is in a box in the car.
