1973 Jeep CJ-5

1973 Jeep CJ-5 with an AMC 304 V8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows about 5800 miles but I do not know if its rolled over (I can assume it has being over 50 years old). It runs solid but the carburetor could use a good tuning, it does not like to run cold but once it warms up it drives great. The transmission does need to be serviced, it shifts fine but it will pop out of first gear if you are not holding the shift lever when you let off the throttle.

I haven't taken it on any serious off road adventures since I have owned it, but the 4-wheel drive works. This is a clean vehicle but it is not a showroom rebuild, there are cosmetic dents/scratches on the body. The seats are all Rugged Ridge aftermarkets, with the rear seat being brand new along with the rear seatbelts. The driver seat is beginning to develop a small tear along the seat bucket stitching.

I bought this in April 2025 and it already had the wheels and 35 inch tires with a 1.5 inch body lift. Since I have had it I put about $10k in upgrades.

4 inch Skyjacker lift with nitro shocks and steering stabilizer

Bestop soft top with doors are in good condition with no tears or broken zippers

I also have a brand new Carson car hauler (towed the Jeep on it one time for a 100 mile round trip) that I am willing to sell with the Jeep for an additional $3500 (Firm on trailer price). You will get all the tie downs with it so you can load and go!
