1973 Jeep CJ-5

Project Jeep. After returning from deployment to Afghanistan in 2013, I began work on this fun project. It's an American Classic! Since then, it's continually been improved with my skills up to a point. It's been fun to drive, fun to work on, but it's also time to let it go. When I got it, the paint was done, body worked on and new floor plating. Since then, I've done almost as much as I can. New Painless wiring harness and gauges, headlights, turn signals, and brake lights. Swapped the original engine for a re-build 4.2 inline 6, the 258 and added a new aluminum radiator. Added the Oppenhauser intake topped with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb, Borla headers and piping to Flowmaster exhaust. I replaced the seats and added lap seat belts. I bed-lined the interior, added new shocks and tires, replaced the windshield and the fuel system from the cap and gas tank to the carb. I currently was about to begin reno of the brake system and have all the parts to replace the drums as well as a new brake booster and pulled lines for power brakes from a donor Jeep. I also have a power steering kit also pulled from a donor Jeep. Other things here and there or have the parts for it as well.
