Classic Car Overview

Starting in 1960 International Harvester would produce the Scout, which would help change the Utility and Off-Road vehicle market forever. It was built in two generations until with a few face-lifts and changes throughout those times but the Scout II would be manufactured from 1971 until the last production scout rolled off the assembly line in their Fort Wayne, Indiana assembly plant. The market potential for a four-wheel-drive recreational vehicle was completely unknown and un-studied up until the late-50s early 60s. The Jeep, Scout and Bronco came alive in the 60s and the rest would be history. This particular stunning example has just undergone a fresh restoration from top-to bottom with everything in working order including a brand new electronic fuel injection system that makes this rig fire right up with out the headaches of chokes, cold-start problems and flooding. These are factory Scout seats still in very good condition, lights and gauges all operational. This Scout II fires right up without hesitation, shifts nicely, brakes well and goes down the road like a Scout .This thing garners all the attention and would be a great two-tracker or summertime cruiser.
