This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was acquired by the seller in October 2014, and subsequent work included repainting the exterior in yellow, installing black carpets to match the black vinyl upholstery, and adding a Weiand intake and Holley carburetor to the 351ci Cleveland V8. Additional equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a B&M shifter, Hedman headers, Magnaflow mufflers, and an aftermarket alarm, power locks, and push-button starter along with a vintage style stereo with an auxiliary input. This Mach 1 is now offered with a Deluxe Marti report, receipts from current ownership along with a clean California title in the sellers name.

The car was repainted in the current shade of yellow by Diegos Auto Body of Wilmington, California, in 2015. Equipment includes a body-color front bumper, a chrome rear bumper, aftermarket xenon projector headlights with LED halo rings, a rear spoiler, and rear window louvers. Replacement items include the weatherstripping, front lip spoiler, headlight buckets, radiator grille trim, front emblem, Mach 1 decals, and the taillight bezels. Paint imperfections are detailed in the gallery below.

Cragar SS 18 wheels with black-finished centers are mounted with spacers and wear 235/50 Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season tires with 2021 date codes. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes fitted with a replacement brake master cylinder.

The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with yellow inserts along with mismatched door panel inserts. Equipment includes replacement black carpets, floor mats with Mustang logos, Scott Drake three-point seatbelts, a B&M shifter, and an aftermarket alarm system, power door locks, and push-button starter as well as a vintage-style stereo with an auxiliary input connected to aftermarket speakers and a 10 subwoofer. The dome light lenses were replaced along with the glovebox liner, and the dash was reportedly rewired. The air conditioning is said to have been converted to R134 refrigerant at which time a clutch-type compressor was fitted, and the seller notes that the system is not functional.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel level gauge which are viewed through replacement lenses. Auxiliary instrumentation mounted in the center stack includes gauges for oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 7k miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The 351ci Cleveland V8 is equipped with a Weiand intake manifold, a Holley carburetor with an air cleaner spacer, Lokar throttle cable brackets, and Hedman headers connected to a dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers that exits ahead of the rear axle. Additional components replaced under current ownership include the intake manifold gasket and the fuel pump.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a replacement differential. The seller notes that the transmission shifts slowly before the car is up to operating temperature. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
