Classic Car Overview

I rate this beautiful '73 Mach 1 fastback comfortably at the top of the "driver quality" condition range. It's been given 71-72 stripes - because they look better - which are painted on (only decals are the Mach 1 and 351 Ram Air decals). Paint and body rate 9.5 out of 10, interior 9.0 out of 10, clean underbody. Almost all stock configuration except the motor. It was born with a 302 but now sports a recently rebuilt '72 351C stroker (408 cu/in) 4-bolt mains, Trick Flow heads, mild Comp cam, MSD digital ignition controller, Holley 770 Street Avenger carb, functional ram-air hood, headers, 2.5" dual exhaust with aggressive Magnaflow mufflers. Apps 400HP. C6 transmission with shift kit, kevlar bands, and Hughes 2500 heavy duty torque converter. Rear differential 3.5 ratio. Brand new Cooper Cobra staggered radial tires. Power steering and brakes. Front disc/rear drum brakes (new booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, calipers, rotors, pads, drums, brake cylinders, shoes and hardware). Retrofitted with LED instrument cluster lighting, Retro bluetooth stereo with Kenwood amp. Factory A/C (converted to R134) blows cold and heater blows hot. Other new stuff: battery, starter, power steering pump, idler arm and tie rod ends, a/c condenser, dryer and O-rings, valve covers, rear window louver, leaf spring bushings, front end alignment. All fluids newly replaced. Lots of receipts. Mechanically sound car that drives very nicely. No issues except the clock is stuck at 5:00. Actual mileage unknown. Clear title. It's not perfect but it is extremely nice. Call or text and ask as many questions as you like. I don't mind. Asking $44,500 or best offer.
