Classic Car Overview
1973 Ford F250 2WD Regular Cab $14,500
It was previously owned by an older gentleman for the majority of its life, if not all of its life, in San Jose, Northern California. Judging by its original condition, it was a utilitarian truck meant to be a reliable daily driver. It had good bones and had been maintained for the most part with no history of wrecks or accidents. The original engine had a couple upgrades/modifications; Edelbrock carburetor, and electronic ignition. The original AC had been taken out - and so was the aux gas tank to make room for an aftermarket dual exhaust system. The original green metallic color had been painted over with a darker blue color. It was poorly done and the paint was starting to peel. There was no rust other than some on the floor panels (which have been cut and welded with new panels) and light surface rust with some dents in the bed. The interior was mostly all original, but old and in need of a revamp.
Frame off paint restoration. The goal was not to create a trailer queen classic with absolute perfection. There is still room for some improvement, but the truck gets plenty of compliments and is the kind of classic that is meant to be driven! The engine runs really well now and is nicely tuned. New Pertronix distributor and coil. Transmission is in good order and has been flushed with new fluid. There's no misalignment. The body is straight and so is the steering.
Have all the receipts and documentation for all parts and service including an appraisal letter from a certified national appraiser. CA tabs good until the end of Feb 2019. A brand new all-weather cover will be included.
The truck has also been used for photo and commercial shoots which is a nice ownership benefit. Sample work here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR_mGhT2iLM&list=PLCFM1h5Oz66h1hHSXoO5-6pziQfi4cOpu&index=4&t=0s
