1973 Ford Bronco 2-Door

This 1973 Ford Bronco, originally delivered to Hand Ford Sales of La Grande, Oregon, was acquired from Colorado in 2023 as a project.

A subsequent body-off refurbishment involved replacing body panels, repainting the vehicle in Anvil Blue, retrimming the seats in Parchment vinyl, refreshing the 302ci V8 engine with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, and installing a five-speed manual transmission matched with a dual-range transfer case controlled by JB Custom Fabrication twin-stick shifters.

The Bronco features a 2.5 suspension lift and other equipment includes a twin-stick transfer case, front disc brakes, 15 steel wheels with styled wheel covers, 31 BFGoodrich tires, Bilstein shocks, power steering, a receiver hitch, a removable white hardtop, a roll cage, Vintage Air climate control, a retro-style digital stereo (needs upgraded), an Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD ignition, and an aluminum radiator.

This Bronco is now available in Idaho with a Deluxe Marti report, refurbishment photos and records, and a clean Montana title under the sellers LLC.

Originally finished in Candyapple Red (T), the Bronco underwent a significant transformation in 2023/2024. The body was removed from the frame, sandblasted, and powdercoated in black. Both fenders and quarter panels were replaced with uncut pieces, and the body was stripped before being finished in Anvil Blue.

The removable hardtop was refinished in Wimbledon White. Other replacement parts include the window frames, glides, glass, and wing windows, as well as the chrome side mirrors, tire-carrier hardware, liftgate struts, and white roll bar. The bezels for the headlights were sandblasted and rechromed. Equipment also includes chrome front and rear bumpers, a receiver hitch, and dual exhaust outlets.

Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front brakes and lines were replaced during the recent refurbishment work.

During the refurbishment, the front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in Parchment vinyl, and the carpeting, door panels, hardware, and headliner were replaced. Vintage Air climate control was also added to enhance the comfort of the vehicle.

The glovebox houses a fuse panel and a display screen for the Sniper EFI. The seller mentions that the retro-style digital stereo is of poor quality, and prewiring for rear speakers is already installed.

A two-spoke steering wheel frames a speedometer that reads 100 mph and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows just over 200 miles, which reflects the distance covered since the refurbishment; the actual mileage is unknown.
