1973 Ford Bronco 2-Door

The plan was to build this up for off roading but it turned out so well that I couldnt risk it and I only ever drive it around town on weekends. I had it appraised by Blast from the past appraisals (www.blastfromthepastautoappraisals.com) below is the report:

This appraisal is based on a physical inspection with photographs on file. A 1973 Ford Bronco Ranger 4x4 SUV with 83,101 miles on the odometer, at the time of the inspection. The subject Bronco was factory equipped with the following steel box-section body-on-frame rail construction, stamped steel body panels, removable doors, removable fiberglass hard-top, chrome front and rear bumpers, swing-out spare tire carrier, solid Dana 44 front axle with radius arms, long lateral trackbar, coil springs, and shock absorbers, solid 9-inch rear axle with Hotchkiss drive leaf springs, and shock absorbers, hydraulic 4-wheel drum brakes, power assisted recirculating ball type steering system, iron block 302ci V8 engine with 2-barrel carburetor, C4 3-speed automatic transmission, Dana 20 transfer case with floor-mounted shifter, front bucket seats, rear bench seat, and carpeted floor.

The subject Bronco also included the following upgrades and modifications custom stainless steel firewall and wheel wells, older rebuilt and Blue Printed engine with Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, 600cfm 4-barrel carburetor, and valve covers, Doug Thorley zinc plated headers, custom Flow-Master exhaust, aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator, Billet aluminum overflow tube, Flex fan cooling fan, stainless steel braided water hoses, oil and transmission cooler, chrome alternator, Mallory coil, older rebuilt C4 automatic transmission with shift kit, older rebuilt 20 transfer case, Wilwood Hydroboost master cylinder, new brake drums, brake pads, and drum brake wheel cylinders, three fuel tanks, custom tow hitch, custom Mustang Mach 1 hood scoop, wheel well flares, upgraded front and rear 3,300lb axles, Centerline aluminum wheels with BF Goodrich A/T tires, custom Corbeau bucket seats, leather seat upholstery, custom door panels and headliner, faux wood dash, remote door mirror, electric tinted windows, and Formula steering wheel.

The exterior was in good condition with bright paint, shiny chrome bumpers, and a few noticeable flaws, which consisted of small paint chips on the right rear wheel well flare, left front fender and driver's side rocker panel. The interior was in good condition with custom leather upholstery and the following noticeable blemishes - some wear in the bucket seats, faded carpet, missing electric window switches, sagging headliner, and a missing radio.

The engine bay appeared to be well maintained and in good condition with no areas of concern. The customer noted that the fuel gauge doesn't work on all three fuel tanks, there is a small transmission leak, and when braking hard it pulls to the right, normal braking is fine.

The overall condition of the subject Bronco was determined to be a #4 (Good), at the time of the inspection.
