Classic Car Overview

INTRODUCTION: Not so mellow yellow! The color turns heads everywhere, and the shaker hood elevates this classic way over the top! It has received a detailed rotisserie restoration including all the goodies that dreams are made of. At the heart of it is a 500 cubic inch performance built V8, dyno tuned at 542 horsepower, you will juice the competition. The only thing left to do is get in, turn the key, and put the squeeze on that pistol grip shifter!

EXTERIOR: This Challenger delivers killer curb appeal thanks to a host of desirable upgrades, including a functional shaker hood, spoilers, rear window louvers, a vibrant high-impact color, and a perfectly dialed-in stance. The fit and finish are outstanding! Every panel appears laser-straight with crisp, square body lines and flush alignment throughout. I could not find any bubbles, cracks, or visible flaws. The doors close with the solid, precise feel of a new car. The Citron Yella paint is polished to a deep, glass-like shine, complemented by color-matched bumpers that give the car a sleek, unified look. It has been upgraded with a 71-style grille and taillights, adding an aggressive touch, with a new pop-up fuel cap as well. The stainless trim appears to be in good original condition, retaining a bright, authentic finish. Both the front and rear glass have been replaced for clarity and freshness. It rides on classic 15-inch Cragar SS wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires, with extra-wide rubber in the rear that gives the car a muscular, planted stance.

INTERIOR: Im writing this from the drivers seat, the interior presents as tidy and very well cared for. The floors are covered in fresh, well-fitted carpet, rising from the transmission hump is a classic and desirable pistol-grip shifter. It retains factory seat belts along with bucket seats that have been nicely reupholstered. The rear seat is in great condition, so are the door panels. Up front, the dash pad is in excellent condition, and the instrument panel area remains stock, clean, and properly preserved. The factory style steering wheel is in place, under the dash are Sport-Comp gauges for oil pressure and water temperature. Overhead, the headliner and sun visors are equally impressive.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original 440 has been bored and stroked to a massive 500 cubic inches, producing an impressive 542 horsepower and 598 lb-ft of torque! Those are big numbers, but aesthetically nothing has been compromised. On top is a six-pack carb set up under the functioning shaker air scoop that captivates your attention whether the hood is up or down. Other features include power steering and brakes. The underside of the steel hood, fenderwells, and firewall are all neatly painted to match the body. The original fender tag is still in place. It is complete and proper: the battery is properly secured, wiring and hoses are tidy, components look fresh, plus the squirters and horns are hooked up.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is exceptionally clean and detailed, finished in body-color gloss yellow paint over solid metal. It is properly equipped with reproduction weatherstripping, factory-style decal, a correct trunk mat, and the rear seat divider, giving it an authentic, well-restored appearance.

UNDERSIDE: Spotless body colored floorboards steal the show. The steering and front suspension have all been gone through with many new parts and functions really well. It has a big fat sway bar. Outback has refreshed leaf springs and the shocks were replaced too. It is equipped with front disc brakes that look totally fresh and the emergency brake is hooked up. The robust exhaust has been recently replaced and upgraded including a crossover pipe, new mufflers, plus sweet splitter tips that produce the ideal growl. The gas tank and all the lines have been replaced. When looking up at the engine you will see fresh Hemi Orange paint and a new starter. The 18 spine 4 speed manual transmission also looks fresh and its complete with a McLeod twin disc clutch. The power gets transferred to a 8 rear with 3.55 Sure Grip posi gears.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade! When life gives you a performance built, rotisserie restored Dodge Challenger, get in and mash the gas!
