In 1973, GM introduced the 454ci LS4 as an available engine option for the Corvette with nearly 15% of production fitted with the big block engine. Rated at 270 HP, the LS4 was impressive when compared to other manufacturers offerings of the era. As the C3 entered its sixth year, the chrome front bumper disappeared, replaced by a new body-colored urethane nose in order to meet new government requirements for low-speed impact protection. Additionally, side-impact beams were added to the doors, and a new coolant recovery system, air-induction hood, radial tires, increased sound deadening materials, and quieter mufflers were added.

Professionally restored, the high-quality restoration presents extremely well in the original shade of Bright Yellow over a black interior, with straight body panels, good gaps, and high-quality paintwork. Doors are properly aligned and shut with a solid, satisfying feel. As expected of a high-level restoration, the engine bay and underneath are also in excellent condition, showing no pits or corrosion.
The Black interior is immaculate, including door panels, carpet, seats, and dash with no flaws to be mentioned. All interior electrical functions and instruments work as they should, including the air conditioning and radio.

This Corvette retains all original and very desirable documentation, including Tank Sticker, Bill of Sale, Deposit Receipt, and Tire Guarantee, all attesting that this car was fully optioned from new with Air Conditioned, Power Brakes, and Power Steering. The previous owner, a car-loving purist, retained all original parts removed from the car, including the original radio; starter; water pump; A/C compressor; and factory non-tilt steering column, replaced by a tilt steering column.
