The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

Classic Car Overview

With its enhanced numbers-matching big block, useful options, and attractive all-red style, this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette 454 is the kind of T-tops classic that has the power and poise you really want. We love a big block Corvette in Mille Miglia Red. Its a terrific race-inspired name, giving us the powerful image that this car proves out on the streets. There was a respray later in life to make sure the clean lines continue to look sleek. Overall, its not the one you take to NCRS judging, but it is the one that people take longer staring at the vibrant and glossy finish when you arrive to see the show-starting to get the picture? This is a Stingray for those who love to enjoy the drive. So the bumpers and trim shine nicely out on the boulevard, and those raised white letter tires look awesome when you start them spinning fast when the light turns green. And whenever you hear the mighty V8 rumble as you go down the road, youll think, Its time to let the big dog eat! The exterior Mille Miglia Red paint might have an Italian name, but the interior makes this one look European. After all, this might be Americas sports car, but the red-on-red look is something wed almost expect from Alfa Romeo. And the trim tag tells us this one was born this way! There was a restoration around 2001, and reasonable care means the fundamentals remain attractive. So you can happily share this interior with the world any time you want, thanks to the T-tops. There are nice features like power windows and provisions for R134a air conditioning (it likely needs a recharge and/or parts to function correctly.) And we love the driver-oriented style with bucket seats, a full auxiliary gauge panel, a tilt steering column, and a crisp-looking speedo and tach right before you. Under the hood is what we all love to see - an engine bay filled with big block power. This is the numbers-matching 454 cubic-inch V8, and thats important since its one of the final years for factory big block C3s. It has a tidy presentation where you can see the polished covers, matching air grabber with callout, newer belts, wiring, and fresh-looking bold block paint. More than looking good, this big V8 fires up eagerly as it inhales deeply from Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. The headers let the motor exhale with added power and authority into the dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed is stout enough to handle this torque-filled motor while providing easy automatic shifting. Plus, this classic is an awesome Corvette cruiser with fully independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes. Complete with build receipts. This is a cool all-red C3 with all the right driver-ready power and style. So dont let this big block Stingray slip away. Call now!
