The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.
Classic Car Overview
454 Big Block / Matching Numbers / Auto 3 Speed Transmission / Original White Paint / Chrome Rear Bumpers / New Front Plastic-Fiberglass bumper / Original Medium Saddle Leather Interior.
Tires are 1/4 used and only a few years old. Carburetor was replaced with high performance Holly 4 barrel and distributor was replaced with high performance D.U.I - both giving vette 75-100 more horsepower. Original radiator was replaced with aluminum radiator with built-in electric fans to keep big block running cooler in summer. Car was originally equipped with AC but system was removed to make it easier to work on motor, however the fan and heat ventilation system works great. Water pump was replaced two years ago, as were the belts. Mechanical fuel pump was replaced with electronic at the same time. All spark plugs and wires were replaced within past year. All exterior emblems were replaced around the same time, after the old luggage rack was removed in the rear, and some firberglass and painting was done with the repairs. Original radio deck was replaced with electronic/digital replica that plays clearer radio, as well as music from ipod or cell phone. 4 new pioneer speakers were installed inside for a great sound. All original parts that were removed have been kept/stored and can be given to the new owner if interested.
I've been restoring the vette for 9 years - it runs like a dream. The car has been repaired/replaced/restored in many ways. Depending on how long I keep the car, my next two projects would be replacing the back chrome bumpers and repainting the car and then I really think she'd be show ready. The back bumpers have minor rust spots and need to be replaced, but that is unnoticeable from a couple feet away. The original paint also looks great from a foot away, but it's 44 years old and not perfect. Minor stress areas and dings.
I'm only selling because I have two young kids and need a four seater weekend car to carry everyone around
